Erasmus is undoubtedly the best known and most successful program in the European Union. Launched for the first time in 1987, as an exchange program for students and professors in the university field, since 2004 it has also been extended to new sectors such as school, youth and sports.

This course presents the structure, objectives and opportunities of the Erasmus program, with a particular focus on the school sector. All schools of all levels can participate in the Erasmus program and benefit from funding for the training of their staff, to participate in international cooperation and development projects, and to achieve their strategic growth objectives.

Unfortunately, many schools are unaware of this program, or mistakenly deem it too complicated to participate. In reality, thanks to incremental simplifications made in recent years and an ongoing increase in available budgets, obtaining Erasmus funding and managing the entire life cycle of a project has become increasingly simple and affordable for all schools. In fact, it is no longer necessary to contact external consultants and designers to see your project financed and to manage it independently. Instead, it is easy to organize your project with the help of a small internal team of dedicated teachers and staff.

In addition to presenting the main funding guidelines for schools, this course pays particular attention to how funding is obtained and how a successful project is managed.
